This Japanese furoshiki wrapping cloth was designed by origami artist duo "Cochae." You can enjoy four different types of expressions depending on how you wrap them.

It used to be said in Japan, business in households with cats would prosper because they get rid of mice that damage their grains and crops. It is now a well-known symbol that brings money and fortune, and is called “maneki neko" in Japanese.

The size of 48 cm(18.9in) is suitable for wrapping small items or bento boxes. The moderate unevenness of the surface gives it more texture than a flat fabric and makes it easier to wrap. The more you use this cotton material, the softer and gentler the texture becomes.
